Tuesday July 24th

This is the date of our next meeting before our summer break!
Just in case any of you do not know we do not meet in August.

Please bring along your fabric bird and nest all ready cut out, if you are making it, along with the other requirements, as well your usual sewing equipment and sewing machine.

If any one wishes to go to on the coach trip to the Fabric Guild on September 13th, please bring along your £18 as full payment only secures your place.

Meeting on Tuesday 26th June

For the Scandi Star make, No requirements are needed, Helen & Sue are kindly bringing prepared strips.

Please bring your money to pay and secure your place for the box workshop and Project Linus Norfolk Coach trip to the Fabric Guild.
Only when your money is paid in full is your place guaranteed. So don't miss out!

If any one missed the last meeting, not many did, there should be a coach going to Springfield Christmas Quilt Show Friday 7th / Saturday 8th December, when I know firm details I will let you know.

If anyone is interested there is the sale of the contents of a haberdashery shop at Watton Sale Rooms on Tuesday 19th June, to be sold without reserve.

The brooches made at the last meeting were varied in colour. Several people talked about the different ideas they had to make more!

If they have multiplied in numbers, please bring them to the meeting, as I would love to see them.

Meeting on Tuesday 8th May and requirements for the next one!

It's round quickly, it's Tuesday 8th May, jut after the bank holiday Monday. It looks like it's going to be lovely weather, so I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Please bring with you your diaries and money as (if you haven't already done so!) those of you booked in on Pat's block workshop on Wednesday 16th May at Thompson Community Hall(where we also hold our meetings.) Will have to pay in full for the workshop(£15) and if you are ordering a lunch this will also need to be paid in full.

At the meeting on the 22nd May it is  making a Mystery Brooch.

Requirements needed are:-

5 circles of felt precut to all the same size., around 2" to 2 1/4" in one colour. 
1 Brooch pin or safety pin about 1" - 1 1/2" in size
1 Button about 3/4 " to 1" in size, same colour or contrasting with your felt. If you wish a smaller       second button to sit on top of the larger button.( if the larger button has holes in and not a loop on the back!)
Matching thread and hand sewing equipment.

Have you booked your place!

Firstly, for the Project Linus Norfolk sewing day on Monday April 23rd, Thompson Community Hall, 9 am-3.45 pm, cost £5. Please contact Jane for a place and to order lunch if you require one.

Wednesday May 16th, Thompson Community Hall, Pat's block workshop, cost £15. Please book, pay and order lunch if required with Lesley, at the next meeting will be fine.

At the meeting on Tuesday April 24th, we are making Heart Cushions for breast cancer patients,
Please bring card (large cereal packet) for templates, and any cotton fabric either suitable for ladies or men, about 1/2 yard in size for the cushion front and calico or suitable material to make the cushion pad. You will need your usual sewing equipment and sewing machine.
