Muriel Quinn is coming to give us a short talk on the bags and other work for Victims of Domestic Violence. She will also be collecting the bags we have already made so those of you who took those kindly cut out for you by SuzannaW please start sewing if you haven't already done so. She has more to give out on 12th July or make them from your own fabric. Do please give this your best shot it is such a worthwhile project.
Finished bags should be 15"X15" with a small opening down one side and a single drawstring at the top. Sew a plain light coloured strip 8"X3" on one side so that the child's name may be written in permanent marker when it is given. Curtain fabric is ideal to make these.
