Also, ask friends or other groups if anyone wishes to come on the coach trip with Project Linus Norfolk on Thursday 22nd September this year. 

We need a few more people to cover the cost of the coach to the Fabric Guild at its new premises!

Next meeting's make is the pop up thread holder, as requested by those of you who wish to make it after its earlier cancellation.

Requirements for Pop up thread holder

Cut 1/2" slice of a pringle tube.
Measure the circumference and add 1/2" to this.( Mine was 91/4" plus 1/2" made 9 3/4".)
Now cut out a rectangle from your chosen fabric 8" x (your measurement)" . With RST stitch a 1/4" seam on the short (8") side, press seam open flat.

Now measure the diameter of your pringle ring.
Cut 2 each of the cardboard plus wadding slightly smaller than the diameter.(so once covered with fabric it will still fit inside your pringle circle)

Now cut 2 circles from your chosen fabric 3/4"larger than your diameter measurement.

Please bring matching thread & hand sewing equipment.

Then we will let the fun begin at the next meeting making them up!
