Hackers, Tackers and Stuffers Quilt & Needlework Group

We are a sociable quilt and needlework group who meet at Watton Christian Community Centre, Norfolk, UK. Meetings are from 7 to 9pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the month except August, and you come along and join the group, meet up with friends and just sew for a few hours. Workshops are run on some evenings and occasional daytimes and weekends, and you can join in if you want and perhaps learn a new technique or start a project.

A Helping Hand

We are surrounded by many talented quilters and needleworkers and whenever anyone has a problem they are usually able to find a solution with the combined knowledge of the group. We can often show each other different way of approaching a technique too.

By attending the group you will be able to join in local workshops and hear of and take part in exhibitions.

As a group, we make Project Linus Quilts which are donated to the Project Linus Charity in Norfolk, and create Heart Cushions, which are given out to breast cancer patients as they are a useful support post-operatively.

Zipped purses

Please bring your finished zipped purses to our next meeting,. If you are unable to attend please make arrangements to get them to the meeting if at all possible This will be the final collection before we take them to Jane Clarke, for Adrienne to collect for Region 9.

Adrienne would like to thank our group for our support in making these.
