Update from last night's meeting.

We had a very enjoyable meeting last night, with Maurice showing us how he makes his fabulous fabric boxes, so neat and hardly a stitch used to make them.
We will be seeing if there is enough interest for a box workshop at the next meeting.

Two possible new members attended as well.

A discussion and voting took place over the change of the group name, no one attending wanted to keep the present name.
We voted (by16 for, no one against & one abstention )to adopt the new name of Wayland Quilters.

The meal is on Wednesday March 8th 2017 at 12 for 12.30 at Griston Waggon & Horses.
Please make sure Margaret Holmes has your lunch order if you are attending.
I hope you have a lovely time as I unfortunately cannot make that day, owing to a Project Linus Norfolk commitment.

We have a Linus day on Monday 13th March 2017, where we will be finishing off layering, quilting and binding quilts. Spaces are limited owing to the room required for these processes.
