Requirements List

8" x 8" of Calico

8" x 8" Backing fabric

Selection of fabrics, you will need four different fabrics,(may be different colours  or tones.) cut into:-

5 x  3" squares(of one of the coloured fabrics.)

8 x 3 1/2" squares( of another fabric.)

8 x 4" squares (of another fabric.)

8 x 4 1/2" squares (of another fabric.)

27" bias binding

Thread, ruler, pen or pencil

Sewing machine

Please prepare before the evenings demonstration:-

8" calico square folded in half and press folded edge. Unfold and fold again the opposite way and press the fold. Then corner to corner and press.

With the squares, fold in half and press, fold in half again and press.

Take folded corners on both sides to meet pressed middle to form a triangle and press.
